Lets celebrate National Dog Day!

Downtown Café celebrates this day by hosting a “Yappy Hour” for dogs and their owners on Thursday, Aug 26 from 6-8 p.m. at the restaurant’s sidewalk cafe.

This B.Y.O.D. (bring your own dog) party includes “puptinis” for canines as well as food and drink specials for dog owners. Live music, giveaways, and raffle prizes are all part of the fun.

On August 27th you can enjoy the Padres vs Philadelphia Phillies game with your dog! Take your furry buddy down to Petco Park and don’t miss a pre-game walk around the warning track with your dog.

The special event will include pre- game access into PETCO Park for an exclusive Tail-gate party which includes PETCO vendors, events and giveaways. Prior to the game, dogs are invited to strut their stuff in an on-field pet parade where PETCO will award prizes in different categories such as best look-alike and best costume.

Applications to attend the event are available at all San Diego area PETCO and Unleashed by PETCO locations – but hurry, it only will be accepted through August 13, on a first come, first serve basis.
